S166: Vintage Czech Bohemian Bust Glass Chess Set

In opaque black and frosted glass hues, the pieces portraying political figures, symbols for each piece carved at the front, kings 9cms tall
Designed by Idenka Juna in 1934 for the Hoffman factory, the kings represent Jan Masaryk (1886-19498) the Czech leader before the second world war.
See butterfly makers marks for Heinrich Hoffmann Gablon , very substantial high quality set weighs ~3.5kgs total weight.
