S173 : Exceptional Detailed Large Animalier Carved Chess Set , kings 14.5cms tall
We commissioned this set on a variant of the Reynard the fox theme from our friend DK, each piece is carved from one block of wood - no joins at the bases.
No two pieces are the same. Each piece is a superb work in its own right.
This set was a huge undertaking (the set took over 6 months to complete), but I hope the results speak for themselves.
