A very unusual antique 'Morphy' silvered and gilded bronze chess set in a fine tooled leather fitted presentation case.
Possibly made by the firm of Seabass (Germany) in the 19thC., it is finely caste with significant additional features including colored
crowns and coronets on the plinths of the Kings and Queens, riders on the horses (knights), towers with soldiers/archers on the elephants and beautiful caste button markers depicting soldiers fighting at close quarters.
